Previously known as Lavender Dream Boutique, I started this business in May 2021 as an opportunity to express creative freedom through fashion. I am so excited to take this boutique in a new direction that follows who I am. Thank you for stopping by!

 

Why did you change the name?

I decided to rebrand and rename the boutique to Ceili Boutique because it was more personal to me and my story. I also felt like Lavender Dream branded itself as a style of boutique that uses lavender in everything- and that didn’t feel like me.

 

What does Ceili mean?

Derived from the Gaelic word Ceilidh (kay-lee) meaning a social event at which there is Scottish or Irish music and singing, traditional dancing, and storytelling. Ceili is the Irish spelling.

 

Why did you choose the name Ceili Boutique?

The name Ceili is special to my family. My grandparents started The Ceilidh Group in Cincinnati when I was younger. I grew up around a very Irish and Scottish influence, attending festivals, spending time at the local Irish center and going to ceilidh's held by my grandparents and their friends. The word Ceili reminds me of my grandparents, my childhood, and not to mention my sister’s name is Kalee (my parents went with their own way of spelling lol)!
